What is rental affordability?

Rental affordability indicates how much can you afford to spend on rent based on your gross annual income. The benchmark used by the Letting Agents for Rental affordability is approx 30% of your gross annual income.

For example, if you earn £45,000, then the maximum (30%) amount you should be spending on rental property would be £1,209 per month or £281 per week.
